CCM is Campus Christian Movement, anyone knows what’s BBQ stands for?

Today’s BBQ at Norman Park was so successful. I think it was one of the best barbie I’ve ever had in CCM history. So many new lives came along and enjoyed the games, sports, and foods. Some passers by stand and watch unusual number of asians and one aussie (that’s Brandon) enjoy BBQing. As someone dismount from the bike to look at our banner, I was so proud of our group.

It’s the lives. It’s not about the mere successful event or even the fun we had. it’s not the group photo with smile all over the faces. It’s the lives. I was one of the new visitors in CCM BBQ some years back. And today I see so many people who claims their lives has been touched and changed by God through CCM. We are so greatful for this life changing group. I am so humbled to be the part of such God’s instrument in the season my life.

Many years passed, many people came and gone through the CCM. Today still there are new people joining the group of people who loves the Lord dearly and loves each other sincerely. It is so exciting to think how God would continue this miracles continuously. The testimonies of people will not end. So our joy continues. So will the marinated beefs and chicken wings.

As long as  God is continue to reach out to the lost, CCM BBQ will be continued. YAY!

Be holy

Lately God has been speaking to me  about few things. few things that I need to get it right with God. These are the things that i didn’t even noticed that it was wrong, or has been that way for long long time. Now he brings it up one by one to me, it’s the time to deal with those hideen areas. Live a godly life requires changes, and to the greater level each time. And gracious God does this slowly one by one, as he knows that I can now face those things.

No one would know or recognize it although it costs me dearly, it is only for my God. I like it that way so it will be for him and him only. my heart is so much that I just want to get it right with him. i am afraid to have any blockage between us and i would hinder myself from being used by him. everyday i called out to him and prayed ’speak to me, and you know that i will listen’,  God revealed to me the occassions that he did spoke to me however in astonishment i missed out on the whole-thing, the instruction of  the holy spirit. after so long, he still brings me back to those times, so i can fully obey him although late.

i am so greatful for God for revealing my sin of disobeying him. He so wants me to live a life as a sanctified worshipper so i would experience his awesomeness in its full measure. so i am so thankful to him for punishing me. Ouch.

Porridge pls

been sick for 2 weeks. cough, fever, muscleache and all. couldn’t go to work on fri. bitter taste as i ring my manager, because wednesday was a public holiday and thursday is my day off. some would think i just wanna get 5days straight off by getting a sicky on friday. sigh..whatever. God is my witness and i can’t be bothered of the rest.

lost all appetite but i gotta eat something to take the pills. Yes, i know how to cook a porridge but  i just don’t want to cook it for myself.. bro comes bk from dating with gf, saying “you never wash the dishes nowdays, huh?” Ya, it’s unusual that i leave the dishes up to the ceiling. ”we need milk! I can’t eat the cereal!”  ”…” Again he says “What’s for dinner?”  I’m thinking, ’YOU!!!’ 

 ..sigh. missing living with housemates, especially when moving house, and when i’m sick. *cough cough*
